Jamie Heinlein (Susan Curtis)
Last fall Jamie played the title in the Off-Broadway sensation Penny Penniworth by Chris Weikel and she will be reprising the role when it returns in September with Emerging Artists Theater. Other recent credits include Kathleen Warnock’s The Adventures of…(Maggie) in both Dublin, Ireland & Provincetown, MA, Garet Scott’s Roll with the Punches (Millicent) in both Ft. Lauderdale & the NYC Fringe, Scott’s Eagle Squadron Go! (Le Chat), Rock the Line (Joanne) & the revival of Doric Wilson’s And He Made a Her (Eve)for TOSOS II. Other credits include work at the Public, Soho Rep, The Samuel Beckett and the Apollo Theater. Jamie is a member of both TOSOS, where she is the Director of the Solo Show Project, and Emerging Artists Theater Company. In her spare time Jamie sells residential real estate with Prudential Douglas Elliman.
Karen Stanion (Ashley Elizabeth Fratangelo)
Karen Stanion is thrilled to be a part of this production. She recently played the role of Mother in The Pillowman (dir. Tom Wojtunik) and the role of Martha in the sold-out hit of last year's Fringe And Sophie Comes Too, also directed by Mark Finley. Other favorite roles include Margo in The Chiselers, Renee in The Palooka (NY IT Award nominee for best actress), Lydia in Some Are People, in NYC and Dublin, and Miss Caswell in the radio play version of All About Eve, starring the legendary Charles Busch (dir. Elizabeth Whitney (Patty Johnson)
Elizabeth Whitney is a writer/performer with a penchant for campy comedy. You may have seen her in SHOWGASM at Ars Nova, The Bulldyke Chronicles at Dixon Place, and The Famous Lesbian Comedy Road Show at Stonewall. You should definitely see her on the Brooklyn Pride stage and in TOSOS' upcoming production of THE SECRETARIES in the 2010 Fringe Festival! Awards include: GO Magazine’s “Dyke Drama” and “100 Women We Love”; nominated for Best Actress at the 2009 ABSOLUT Dublin Gay Theatre Festival; featured artist in Bitch Magazine; Lesbian Theatre Awards from Curve Magazine; “Best Performance” at the New York City Fresh Fruit Festival; “Best Solo Performance” at the Columbus National Gay and Lesbian Theatre Festival. She is a member of The Dramatists Guild, The Famous Lesbian Comedy Road Show, and The Femme Show. She is currently developing a new solo show about her hometown of Tallahassee, Florida.
